REGISTRATION – 2026-2027 SEASON
Our season runs September 8, 2026 to April 2027. All skaters must be fully registered before stepping on the ice.
How Registration Works
Registration is completed in two steps: SSO/SSC membership and CSSC club registration.
Step 1 – SSO & SSC Membership
Club Membership with Speed Skating Ontario (SSO) and Speed Skating Canada (SSC), this registration is performed using ICEREG and you must complete the club membership and pay the SSO & SSC fees using the button below.
Step 2 – CSSC Club Registration
These fees are priced per night for the entire season (you choose the program and nights you wish to register for) please use the button below to complete registration and receive your invoice for applicable fees.
SSO & SSC Membership Fees
Club Skater
Annual membership for skaters who participate in learn to speed skate programs and the Regional Racing Program. Club Skaters are not required to upgrade to a Competitive Skater membership after December 31 to participate in provincial competitions.

Competitive Skater
Annual membership for skaters who actively train as a speed skater and compete in SSO’s Elite or Provincial sanctioned competitions and the Canadian Youth Short Track and Long Track Championships.
SSO FEE: $90.00 + HST
SSC FEE: $55.00
Total: $156.70
National Athlete
Annual membership for skaters who participate in short track and long track Neo-Junior, Junior, Neo-Senior and Senior national competitions such as Canadian Championships, Canada Cups or the Canada Winter Games.
SSO FEE: $120.00 + HST
SSC FEE: $80.00
Total: $215.60
CSSC Club Fees – 2026-2027
Fundamentals
Introductory program focused on balance, confidence, and basic speed skating skills. Ideal for new skaters and young athletes building foundational technique.
- Practice Nights: Tuesday or Thursday
- Fee: $525 per night
- Choose: 1 or 2 nights
- Program Length: Full season (Sept–Apr)
Development
For skaters progressing beyond fundamentals and preparing for provincial competition. Emphasis on technique, endurance, and race skills.

- Program Length: Full season (Sept–Apr)
Elite
Advanced training for competitive athletes aiming for Elite and national events. Includes technical development, race strategy, and high‑intensity conditioning.
- Practice Nights: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
- Fees:
- Monday: $575
- Tuesday / Thursday: $525 per night
- Choose: 1, 2, or all 3 nights
- Program Length: Full season (Sept–Apr)
Multi-skater family discount, 10% for the second skater, 15% for the 3rd and additional skaters, rebates will be provided after registration.
